I have a confession to make. I’m a bit of an interior design nut. I have Pinterest boards that go on for days. I’ve meticulously planned and designed rooms for houses I don’t even own, because I intend to own them one day. I love furniture. And decorating. Love it. So it’s always great when I get a chance to lend my freelance copywriting services to a furniture brand, and pen the copy that will launch a whole new collection. In the case of Harley and Lola, that collection was their Nordic Luxe line, which is a delicious combination of Scandinavian materials, modern luxury, and hygge comfort.
The Problem With Writing Copy For Furniture Designers Is That I Want All The Furniture
Of course, the obvious problem that was born from this project was a very long wish list for furniture that will never fit in my house. The only conclusion I could draw was that I needed to do a lot more copywriting projects for other furniture designers and outlets, so I can afford to buy a bigger house to fill with all their designs!
