FAQs

Terms & Conditions…

What are your terms and conditions?

The terms and conditions for all my services which can be viewed here.

What happens if I don’t agree to any of your terms and conditions?

If there is anything in the terms and conditions or your contract that you don’t understand, or don’t wish to agree to, please let me know. There are a lot of standard terms and conditions included to cover all my services, and some may not apply to you. If you would like these removed let me know. Certain terms are non-negotiable, but the majority are flexible provided your requests are reasonable.

What if I want to add clause(s) to your terms and conditions?

If there are any specific conditions or clauses you would like me to agree to before you sign a contract, please let me know. All reasonable requests can easily be included.

What happens if I break your terms and conditions?

If you fail to uphold the terms and conditions the most likely result is that I will be unable to deliver your copy at the agreed upon time. You may also incur additional charges (i.e. if you ask for additional words over and above what you have paid for). In the event additional charges are required I will let you know and get approval BEFORE the extra work is done. Certain situations, like failure to make payment, could result in the end of your contract, the cessation of future work, or withholding complete projects until payments are up-to-date. That being said, provided you communicate with me regarding any issues making payment it’s usually possible to avoid this!

Contracts…

Do I have to sign a contract?

If you are purchasing a blog bundle, or any other fixed price/scope product or service available in the SHOP, you agree to my terms and conditions on purchase. Beyond this, no contract is required.

If you are hiring me for a bespoke service that requires an individual quote (i.e. writing the copy for a whole website), or hiring me to work for you on you on a monthly basis, a contract will be drawn up outlining the scope of our agreement, timelines, costs, and each party’s responsibilities.

Payments…

What are the benefits of a monthly blogging contract?

Opting for a monthly blogging contract has many great benefits. A fixed monthly price allows you to properly budget for your services. The choice to place me on retainer is rewarded by a lower rate per post than you would get with a blog bundle. You will also never have to worry about my availability, you will have a regular slot in my schedule, and your blog will have consistent and regular content, going out on a set day and schedule.

How and when do I pay for my monthly SEO Blogging service?

A monthly contract allows you to spread the cost of your blogging service in monthly payments. Each payment will cover your chosen number of posts per calendar month. For example, one post per week will be billed as four posts per month, two per week as eight etc.

In most cases your first payment will be taken two weeks prior to the publication date of your first blog post. For example, if your first post was due to go out March 1st, your first payment (covering all posts in March) would be taken on February 15th. You would then be billed on the 15th of every subsequent month for the duration of your contract. Should you decide to end your service, your final payment would be made two weeks prior to start of the final month of your contract. For example, if the final month of your contract is August, your last payment will be made in July.

How and when do I pay for The Divine Blogging Design?

The Divine Blogging Design runs a little differently due to the huge amount of prep work that goes into creating your ideal client archetype profile and content marketing schedule. Your first payment will be take upon signing your contract, with monthly payments going out on the that date every subsequent month. However, it will be 6 to 8 weeks after your first payment when your first content goes live.

How and when do I pay for other services?

If you purchase anything through the SHOP on the website payment will be taken immediately. The majority of these are one off payments, however certain items like Bitchn’ Blogs, Awesome Articles, and Book Reviews have an option to make a one off payment for a bundle, or set up a monthly subscription. Subscription options will be charged as outlined above, while any other item will be charged immediately upon purchase.

If you need a bespoke quote for any of my services we will discuss payment terms when I send you the quote. However, the majority of the time if the job is small I will ask for immediate payment in full. If it’s a big job, like writing a whole website, or ghostwriting/editing a book, I will ask for a 50% deposit before work begins and payment in full before the finished work is delivered. If you need to split payments into smaller chunks for cashflow purposes this is usually possible, just ask!

Refunds…

What is your refund policy?

Due to the time-consuming nature of my services they are non-refundable once work has begun. In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the copy I deliver, through no fault of your own, I will happily amend or completely re-write your post(s) as needed.
